Can anyone offer advice on this Seamaster 166.002 565 please?

I've had a good trawl through the forum and on Google and I have found only a handful examples with similar dial and markers and not enough information for me to be able to make a decision?

I found this thread that states that the two slashes either side of SWISS MADE are correct for the 565 movement: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-166-002-is-it-legit.84579/

The photos posted by SHABBAZ on this thread look similar to the watch?

The second hand looks wrong and the crown, but otherwise? Images:

Would need much better pics than these to really give a good idea of what’s there, but from these pics, the hands are gold and can’t tell what color the indices are. Bezel has been knackered about, can’t tell on case condition but probably about the same as the bezel. I wouldn’t buy it with these pics unless it was dirt cheap and only for the value of the movement at this point.

Thanks JwRosenthal, your advice is much appreciated. Unfortunately these are the best of the photos that I have.

I'm looking at it primarily for the No12 bracelet and No70 end links - I've inherited my Dad's 1966 Seamaster De Ville and I'd like the bracelet as well as the leather strap.

I've scoured the internet trying to get the correct bracelet and end links and they seem to be very pricey and rare. I thought this may be an option to get the bracelet and add another watch to my collection.

If the price is right I'd ask for more/clearer pics of the bracelet and links; but I probably wouldn't interested in the watch for more than the movement, as @JwRosenthal said. Unless of course new pics paint a different picture. All depends on your wants and price point, etc.

Thanks @kip595, appreciated. I am a lot clearer on the watch condition now.

It's great to get advice, I am a bit of a novice on Omegas!

This is my Dad's watch. Ive taken the black leather strap off - it's a Longines strap but he always swapped over the omega buckle. Mum bought it for Dad after they got married in 1966.

Having just looked at the photo I've taken, its picked up all the scrarches on the non-Omega crystal, the watch dial is a lovely champagne colour.

FYI your watch is a Ref 165.007 cal 711 which is a completely different watch than a "regular" Seamaster De VILLE with a 5xx movement.

I'm not so sure the #70 end-links will fit your watch as the lug design is different.

Thank you @X350 XJR

I'll get on to researching the watch and suitable end links. I am also planning to get another black leather strap for Dad's watch.
