Hi OF members,

I finally got to wear my Seamaster 14700 2 CS in public and the bezel has popped of and is now lost to eternity. Please can I have your help in identifying the part number required for it's placement?

Email Omega with the case reference number and ask about the replacement bezel.

They should have the number for it

Although I'm not sure I doubt very much that you'll be able to order a bezel for this early 60's reference. I know from experience you just have to be lucky a spot one loose, or a complete case donor, on Ebay or the such like.

Patience will be key here!

Thankfully I was able to find the bezel but have found that the bezel keeps popping of. Is there a knack to getting the bezel to remain in place? I not sure if the bezel may have distorted since cleaning.

These usually need to be attached with a press providing the case and bezel are in good condition.

Hi @X350 XJR would the press be something I'd be able to purchase or would you recommend giving to a watchmaker to do?

I would just take it to a watchmaker, they should know if it "feels" right when they put it on, in good condition it should have a fairly distinct click or snap when it goes on.
