Hi Forum just get this gorgeous Seamaster 145.029 , all good and nice, but the case back as the number 1121 engraved Any idea what is representing ? i know that some watch sold in Venezuela mostly Speed-Anakin Franken have something like that but looks like this watch did not left Switzerland. any hint appreciated Paul

Hi I got the information yesterday , the watch was delivered to Italy that means 1121 correspond to Italian market
Really the archive guy was too young to confirm that but , in the early 70´s they where trying those things for them is logic as the country code of Italy was at that moment 1121 and the watch was send to a Italian retailer all fits. weel also they said Italian retailer and not the Distributor also said this can make a difference , during that time some retailers get direct access to Omega because previous contacts or agreements maybe was a way to know if the watches where coming back to another country, the grey market still exist today . Wonder what countrycode 1011 was/is ? I find it strange that they would put country codes on this particular reference and no other? Mine should be from Spain then?
