Seamaster 120 manual

Greetings from Chicago everyone!
I just wanted to share my Seamaster 120 manual wind and see what you guys think of it.

As to the history, I was gifted the watch 12 years ago. The first 8 years it was just sitting in my drawer, it couldn't be wound and the crystal had a couple cracks, but mostly because I didn't know a thing about watches and that it just needed a service to get it going. So about 4 years ago, maybe more, I had it serviced and replaced the crystal. It also had a Spiedel elastic strap that I replaced with a cheap bracelet.

A few questions to the experts:
1. It is running 27 seconds slow, how often should I have it serviced?
2. The back case doesn't have the waterproof engraving, but from researching on this forum this is normal. Just curious if it makes it a rarer piece?
3. I would like to keep it on a bracelet and will try to hunt down an Omega. Which bracelet was the original model and which other Omega would look good with it(1171 is one, I think)? Also, any good aftermarket bracelets that have some weight as a back up option?
4. Should I clean the bezel and with what? Any way to clean the groove between the bezel and crystal? Don't need it 100%, never will polish it, but would like to remove some of the old gunk.

Thanks in advance!
Nick

Once every 5 to 6 years. But with 27 seconds a day maybe it's better to ask a watchmaker to check it.

Most have waterproof. So yes. Pricewise it does'nt really matter IMO

I have a 1067 with 532 endlinks (see oicture). Tropical rubber also nice (see picture)

Toothpick maybe. Bezel is fragile so be careful. Or ask @Archer. He knows everything about watches.

By the way, you have yourself a 135.027 (manual, no date). Very nice! There are four different modelnumbers of these.

Thanks! Since I don't wear it as much, it's nice not having to reset the date every time.
Looks nice on the tropical and maybe a leather strap, but I'm set on a bracelet. Since I wear my Avenger II Seawolf a lot more often, I'm used to and like a little more weight in my watch.

Wonderful watch @nick79.

There are a couple of bracelet variations that these came with. See attached image (for the automatic with date, but the bracelet paring is the same.)

Set alerts for eBay and WatchRecon and some will show up if you have patience.

Thanks, I'm amazed the bezel grip edge is only slightly worn when compared to the ones I see for sale on Ebay, looks like they polish the bezel edge for some reason.

I appreciate the bracelet list, I know now what to look for. Already found some on Ebay, but won't jump the gun unless it's worth it.
