Questioning the authenticity of this 1020 ref. 166.0203 on the Bay. Seller does not have a photo of the movement or case back and is not the original owner. Claims to have original leather band w/ buckle.
Hello to the OF. The Seamaster should have a cal. 1010 or 1012 movement. Cal. 1020 has a day/date window and not only the date window. Crown might be correct but it is quite hard to say with only a pic from the front. There is one thing with the dial. Omega data base shows a picture where "Automatic" is written right under Omega and not under Seamaster. I am not sure if there were different dial variations but for me the dial looks OK. duffy
If you"re told it's a 1020 it's the wrong movement as it'as a day date movement. A 1012 is the correct movement (and an excellent one)
