For all we know or do not know, the owner of the watch must have been a VIP customer of Omega Bienne Switzerland. Otherwise, Omega Switzerland would not have custom-produced the water-tight dial, exclusively for him.

Given the opportunity, we should ask him whether or not Omega Switzerland had charged him extra for the screws.

Hopefully, one of our respectable members here will be privileged to own that 'virgin' watch, family-owned since new.

    Thank-you.

Probably that watchmaker has registered his patent and more vintage Omega will have a water-resistant dial.

    Thank-you.

That same seller said "F#*k you a$$hole" to me when I asked who put screws through the dial and ruined the watch. :p

Currently at $323 - that's not cheap at all for a "screwed" dial, unless someone has a dial on hand to swap and flip it, and double/triple their investment.

Why not cheap? You do not have to pay for the two screws. They come for free.

    Thank-you.

While butt-ending is fun and certainly has an effect on somebody's attitude, nothing beats pulling the sweater over their head and laying a pummeling on them. :D Besides planting a perfectly executed hip check, that's what I miss the most about playing. And you can do it without arrest and prosecution on the rink!
