Scam offers on ebay from Italian sellers recently?

I think there have been repeated offers from different Italian sellers (or accounts) on ebay during the past couple of weeks, who are posting watches for 50% off, using pictures of previous auctions and always take care there's no PayPal option for payment? I am sure some other members noticed that as well.

Maybe I didn't read the according thread.

Anyway, scam ahead?

Here is the latest auction, following the scheme, this time even at a 1 € starting price (normally the offers are 3.500 BIN for a ST2 incl. box and papers or something like that, always only regular wire transfer accepted).

Well, the pictures are well known, having been posted seriously by the legitimate seller some days ago.

Take care!

Reported. I've seen this type of scam before with a ck2998. Someones ebay account has probably been hacked. They usually pick someone who has good feedback but hasn't used their account in a while. 3 day duration of the auction is a dead giveaway.

I have observed this has been repeating for a couple of weeks right now. They offer different watches and copy recent auctions. The sellers accounts always vary and most of them have a low feedback count.

No PayPal is common.
