My next door office neighbor has been wearing his Rolex for a while until yesterday. He showed up with this bumble bee and i fell in love with it. Honestly, I don't like the Aqua Terra at all but the Bumble is exception! It looks so fresh and different. So I took a pic of his new piece with my everyday watch (beloved PO).

I also congratulated him that he has moved out from the dark side (Rolex) to the bright side (omega). Haha.

As that's the watch I know of as "Bumblebee".

But I was pleasantly surprised to see an Omega only post.

It does, indeed, look lovely!

 

I love the Aqua Terra and especially the "bumble bee", although I'm not a fan of it on a brown strap. I think it looks perfect on a bracelet or a black leather strap.

 

what! you dont like the AT? My fav AT is the blue one. Actually if i had to really choose, I'll take a 2503.80!

AT is obviously the best current Seamaster; have worn little else since getting the blue dial.

Looking into getting a 15000 gauss as soon as I reasonably can! Really feel like it'll be an iconic ref in the future, being the first amagnetic ref.

I did not like the look with the steel bracelet very much when I first purchased the watch...seemed a bit too blingy together with the yellow hand...after two years I swapped for a barenia OEM Omega strap which I think works well with the yellow accents and the sunburst dial.
Have not seen it on a black leather strap, but I think it might generate too much contrast with the yellow?

 

Love the A.T. so much I have a couple.
Unfortunately my first love opaline is still resident in Switzerland and missing it more as the days go by.

 

I agree with what you had there! Leather strap is the way to go for AT , at least for bumble bee.

 

I kinda like it as well. It is just a little different. AT is more on the dressy side for Omega, however it still retains a thicker and sporty case. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent work @marcnorth! I have to say both black and grey options look really cool!

With the sunny Rio weather I am more of a light beige slacks + blazer and tan leather shoes kind of guy for my business attire...and my bumble bee on the Barenia strap looks pretty cool with that "summer" setup.

Indeed they do look gorgeous...what @marcnorth did was a great job re-coloring the original photo of my AT with a tan strap (look a few posts above in the current thread).
