Hello everyone!

Do you know if there are any rumors about upcoming Omega releases in 2022?
What would you like to see released this year?

I would love a Railmaster with a sandwich dial, if possible Polar.
I read you carefully and thank you.

Greetings!

I'm not asking for much, I'd just like to see the green dial Aqua Terra in 38mm.

The Omega event is next month but the company has also announced that from this year they will be announcing their new models in 2 batches. So there should also be another announcement or event a few months later. (End of summer early fall)

I think we have had a lot of Speedmaster releases of late so this year should be about the Seamaster and especially the Planet Ocean line.

What i expect this year is :

- New Planet Ocean generation.
- Seamaster SMP 300 GMT
- Aqua Terra Chrono and maybe Day Date.

Surely they are going to introduce some GMT models, right?

Agree with Planet Ocean update.

There will be more Speedmasters too, 65th anniversary.

Dark Side of Moon collection is not yet master chronometer. I wonder if that will get an update using the manual wind movement from the Chronoscope.

I really hope so. The GMT is a big hole in Omega's lineup. They don't really have anything competitive with Rolex's GMT lineup. The PO GMT's are way too big.

I'm looking forward to a Constellation update (Edit: 70th anniversary!) and for the Planet Oceans to go on a diet. Would be neat if Omega introduced a thinner movement to replace the 8500/8900 series too. They were groundbreaking in 2007, but the finishing has fallen behind contemporaries, and a more svelte 30mm automatic caliber would allow for ergonomic improvements across the lineup.

I agree this is coming, it is logical BUT we didn’t get an Apo XV 50ty and I really do not understand why tbh…
ApoXVII is too important to miss anyway

Omega was able to make it work with the 2500 and 8800 series, so it's possible. An update to the 30mm size caliber (which has better variation requirements than the smaller format movements) would be very well received.
