Is it me or does the integrated look of this oem rubber strap make the overall case of the watch look bigger on the wrist?? I did not expect that with the tapering to 16mm…

I love the look but with a small wrist, might not be the best choice… 🙁

I can kinda see that, by being integrated, it makes the lugs more of a solid continuous piece of the watch rather than two pieces extending from the case.

Fit wise its the same at least. Maybe go to an AD/OB and see if you can try before you buy.

personally I don't get that feeling, and I think the professional is already right on the limit of what I can pull off on my wrist.

Totally off topic, but do you have a good picture of the watch in your profile picture?

I am never one to miss a chance to spread the love for the c-case! We even have our own thread over in the vintage forum.

This one is a 168.17 btw.

I love C cases, but somehow I've never seen a constellation quite that color. It looks fantastic

Anybody try the small size? I have about a 7 inch wrist and not sure if the small will be, well too small.

If the straps length sizing is similar to the Seamaster professional straps, you probably need the regular size. My wrist is just over 7" and there were definitely holes in both directions when I owned a rubber SMP strap.

you own the sailcloth 3861 right? the lady in the OB told me the rubber size is the same as the leather and sailcloth, so if you are ok with the fit of the sailcloth then theres no reason to go for the smaller one.

I know it’s controversial, but this was $11 from AliExpress and is way better than it has any right to be! No doubt the OEM is great, but this suites my needs!

You tried the Oem to compare?

Haven’t tried it, but I’m sure it is amazing. Just couldn’t personally justify the cost in my current budget so this checked a nice box for when I don’t want to use the bracelet

I bought the OEM and it's ok. I find it a little thin and the sales guy told me they tend to tear at the clasp when adjusting the size. After this I discovered Zealande Straps which fit the 3861 perfectly and are a little more robust for less money.

Isn't that one they released with the white speedmaster? i.e., you can pick the steel, leather, or rubber strap and the rubber strap is that one

It released with one of the crazy expensive gold versions. But yes, same one.

Was thinking about getting one for my white speedy...couldn't decide if the moon inside was worth the extra cash or if I should pick up an everest strap.

I'm really wanting to pull the trigger on one of these but what are they thinking with the length of the band they're using for the side that directly attaches the buckle/clasp? I'm referring to the "shorter side" of a conventional watch strap that is attached to the buckle. Even the short version of this is about 91mm whereas the regular is about 102mm.

In comparison, the average length for the "shorter side" of a watch strap that I've seen is 70-80mm. For my 7" wrist, the measurements of this rubber strap make it feel like the buckle is going to rest too far to the inside part of my wrist. Am I crazy?
