rounded "s"

I have an Omega Seamaster with the "S"in Seamaster very symmetrically rounded both above and below in the letter. I have seen before but rarely . do we know if this is valid or likely reprint

There is the “coat hanger” S before a transition to the “rounded” S.

Both are legit, I can’t recall when the transition happened, but it’s documented in some threads.

It’s not straight forward. There are several forms of both coat hanger and round S text forms out there. You generally have to comp against other examples of the same reference. Some longer lived references may have even had multiple text styles
