Hello, I am noticing in my seamaster cal 750, the rotor is not only spinning but moving up and down by a few mm. When I hold the watch with the dial pointing up, I can feel the rotor drop slightly. I can confirm this, by taking my plastic tool and pushing the rotor up against gravity and watching it fall again when I let go. Is there a normal amount of movement in this direction that's normal? I would expect the answer is no. Is there a way to fix this?
Should not have any play - replace the rotor with a new bushing, and possibly the axle as well. Prices in the other thread you posted to on this subject. Cheers, Al
