Question for everyone with Polerouters with microrotors, is the microrotor scratching the inside surface of the case back a common thing? Is this caused by wear/age of pivot that secures the rotor?

    TIA!

Broken rotor posts are a problem with a lot of these. If that is your problem, let us all know if and where you find a replacement rotor post.

Yes it is common, the rotor can be fixed by watchmaker.

Happened to my Polerouter too, according to my watchmaker it was only a broken jewel and we did not need to source a new rotor, he replaced it and now it works perfectly. But if you need a replacement rotor that's a tougher case.

To my knowledge the microrotor is not mounted between jewel but directly on an axle which get loose with time mostly on 215 to 218 movement (need to be changed). On the Cal 69 I succeed to reduce the loose thanks to an improved system (a ball bearing basis).
