·Dear and respectable OF members,
I come today to you to say that I am on the hunt for a set of hands for my ref. 2846. It is a Seamaster from 1958 powered by cal 501.
It is a piece I truly love and wear very frequently. I acquired it a few months back and it was one kind of a grail for me. There is reason to believe the hands with the exception of the seconds one were replaced in a service long ago.
They don't bother me at all times, but sometimes, with different lights, the difference between yellow gold and rosegold becomes visible and it would also be cool to see the hands go only until the inner dial.
Here are some pics of my watch.
The hands I am looking for should look like this:
I did see some other style of hands in some dial variarions within the 2846 line, and I would be happy to buy those as well:
If you have a spare one, even if the seconds hand is missing, I am interested!
Best wishes,
Rudi
