I had the same question while back, when I purchased my AirKing.

Another Russkie example with slender minute hand that gets lost in the I's.

Hi! I signed up to ask if you know what era these tissot watches are from/how to find them, I'm in love with the colour!
Hello @bee232 and welcome to the forum! Both of those watches date to 1941, but Tissot (along with many other marques) made colorful dials throughout the 1930s, 40s, 50s, and beyond.

If you're just getting into the hobby, take some time to find the styles that you like and learn as much as you can about them so that you can identify original, complete watches. That's the goal of vintage watch collectors like those on this forum. Finding original watches takes a lot of time and patience hunting places like antique stores, auction sites, watch forums, pawn shops, and watch dealers.

Perhaps start your quest by looking through this thread, to what other collectors wear: https://omegaforums.net/threads/wruw-today.567/
Then look over this thread, to learn some tips on identifying original watches: https://omegaforums.net/threads/learn-how-to-fish.52603/
And please feel free to start a thread on a watch that you like, and ask the knowledgeable members for feedback.
