·Hi guys,
II have for sale a fantastic 5.4 serial 1680 "White writing" MK1 in great conditions, with a strong case, a perfect dial with killer patina and an amazing dark blue insert.
Serial dates back to 1977/78 and the dial is a fantastic example of MK1 with the characteristic oversized hour plots.
The watch is original in every parts and runs well keeping good time.
CASE:
Even and thick case.
Serial and reference number are fully visible.
Original 1680 caseback.
BEZEL INSERT:
Original Rolex MK3 insert with a dark blue fading in very good conditions.
DIAL:
The dial is an original Mk1 variant with a beautiful yellow patina even on all plots and all lettering is clearly visible and correct.
The hands are tritium and match perfectly to the dial.
Tritium is original and was checked with UVA light.
Dial shows no chips around the rehault and no scratches.
BRACELET:
The bracelet is the original 93150 with 580 endings in great conditions with 12 links.
Also the clasp is original to the watch and the code (VC) matches the year of the serial.
MOVEMENT:
Correct 1575 caliber running well.
Original "open 6" data disc.
The movement was serviced four years ago according to the previous owner.
Asking 16500 Euro, insured shipping included.
Payment method - I will accept Paypal and bank wire.
