Hi guys, I have for sale a have for sale a stunning 1680 "White writing" in killer condition: unpolished case, a perfect dial with beautiful patina and an amazing dark blue insert. 5.2 serial dates back to 1977 and the dial is a fantastic example of MK2 with the characteristic oversized hour plots. This extraordinary example of 1680 comes directly from the family of the original owner and it's offered as found, preserved in a truly untouched condition: super strong unpolished case, killer matte dial with beautiful lume patina and a nicely aged bezel. The watch is original in every parts and runs well keeping good time. CASE: Unpolished case that still retains its original Rolex finish. Serial and reference number are fully visible. Original 1680 caseback. BEZEL INSERT: Original Rolex MK3 insert in excellent condition nicely faded to a delightful dark blue color. DIAL: The dial is an original Mk2 variant with a beautiful eggshell patina even on all plots and all lettering is clearly visible and correct. The hands are tritium and match perfectly to the dial. Tritium is original and was checked with UVA light. Dial shows no chips around the rehault and no scratches. BRACELET: The bracelet is the original 93150 with 580 endings in very good conditions with all the 12 links and the clasp code (A) matches the year of the serial number. MOVEMENT: Correct 1575 caliber running well. Original "open 6" data disc. The movement was serviced four years ago. Asking 15500 Euro, insured shipping included. I am not interested in any trade.
