Hi OF!

I am trying to learn more about Rolex Submariners, and the one that I am focusing on right now is a 14060.
The special thing with this one is that the dial has Swiss (only) at the bottom,
And if I am correct here, only during 1998 and 1999, U and A serials.

I do have a question (maybe more down the road…🙄) regarding the bezel.

Most of them have ”Flat Four”, but some of them are ”Slim Four”.
Is there anything weird with this, or is it just what it is, depending on the exact production date/year…??

Or could it be that the bezel came with the ”Flat Four" from the beginning and the ”Slim Four” is a replacement?
Even though some of them are never serviced (yepp I know....memory etc...).

These bezels….DON and DNN, and now this!

Help...!

Well…
I had some sparetime, so why not study some more…?
😁

I used the lovely Chrono24 to do some research, punched in the reference, and the years between 1997 and 1999.
And it showed 64 14060´s.

Sorting out the ones that could be used, I then made a chart…
Pheeew….

And what did i learn?

Erhhh…roughly 27-40 % (based on my chart) are with the Slim 4.

That was fun…!

Soon time for a Breewski...
