I am selling a mint Milgauss Blue Dial ref# 116400GV The polished bezel and PCL’s dont suit me and my lifestyle... I prefer a more rugged design. This watch has no scratches, no dents, no dings… as you can see there are very very light desk swirls along bracelet and bezel ONLY. The case, inner bracelet and case back still have original plastics attached. *Watch comes with original box/hang tags, warranty card stamped & signed, *Asking $6600, I'll pay the shipping and you pay the PayPal fees (or send as a gift). Face2Face in NY welcomed. I have many many transactions on WUS as well as OmegaForums, all positive... Just search my username.
I am not a Rolex guy, and especially not a modern Rolex guy... ... except for this very Millgauss, with the green crystal and the blue dial. The color combo is just s t r i k i n g! GLWS!!!
What does "Grail" mean to you? For me it means a watch I've researched for a long time, have a great understanding of its aesthetics, its movement, its history and place within the watchmakers portfolio. Once acquired, a true "Grail" is a piece I'd never sell, certainly not after 2 weeks of ownership. That for me is a "flip", and almost the opposite of a "Grail". I agree it's a very nice looking piece. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We have a similar concept of "grail". But unfortunately, due to its color scheme and my lifestyle... It only took a week to know I should continue to admire this watch from a distance. As much as I love it's design and colors along with its history, it wouldn't not work for me as a "one watch". I am not rich and I need to save up for my watches depending on its price points. In order to obtain this watch, I had to sell two other high end pieces. At this time in my life I found it wiser to buy something in the same price range that I would feel more comfortable wearing daily. I will continue to save and buy nice watxhes... and just maybe I'll end up owning this beauty again in the future.
Solid explanation and now makes perfect sense to me. Hope it works out for you and you can enjoy it again someday! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You were diving and it fell off of your wrist and....and... Oh wait, wrong story! Just a joke, it's a shame that us true believers aren't zillionaires to facilitate the safekeeping of the finer examples for posterity! Frunk, I'll make some stupid post tomorrow to give you a free bump, I just felt a comment was in order and sincerely hope a true aficionado takes advantage of your honesty, buys it well and offers to return to the rightful owner for cost, no questions asked!! His payment would be in unlimited watch karma. I'll do this if you would accept my personal IOU.... as the zillionaire adjective does not apply. (I'm world renowned for using periods as poetic expression). (......!)
So after much deliberation (waffling) by me, I've made a final decision to sell the blue-Z beauty after all. Anyone interested just send me a PM...
Man this is hurting you!!! I know how much you love it and totally understand your back and forth....after all it is a grail watch for you, wether it ends up being the right fit. It's like Magnum Condoms for me..... Best of luck!
