I have for sale my Rolex 16750 GMT from 1979.
All original and in excellent condition for its age.
This is the sought after, very early rendition with transitional ‘matte’ dial (doesn’t have the white gold circled hour plots) - and without the ‘DATE’ script.
Essentially, it is a ref 1675 but with the later ‘quick-set’ movement.
Excellent dial and hands.
The case is in great condition - a few marks here and there as to be expected from a non safe-queen watch, but nothing significant. Serial number is worn but still visible with a loupe.
All functions operate correctly, winds, sets and runs very well - good timekeeping and power reserve.
Serviced by my watchmaker 2 years ago.
Comes mounted on a 78360 bracelet with 12 links (good for my 8” wrist).
It comes with box, but unfortunately no papers.
An excellent daily wearer with substantial investment potential.
I’ve checked pricing on comparable watches and I’d like to see UK£12k to include insured delivery world wide.
