Guess I may as well pile on.....

After owning a 1675 and 16710 I found the 16750 to be just right--vintage vibe of the plexi crystal but with quickset date and hi-beat movement.

I traded a Pam 431 i picked up on the cheap ( need to scratch that 47mm Luminor itch) for this 16710.

Best trade ever for me.

No quick set date for me, but always committed to set the date when I wear my 1675 Mk1 full set from 1969

My current daily choice is the 16750. Love the quickest date and plexi crystal combo that is unique to this reference. Also have the earliest gloss dial with just OP like the vintage matte dial versions.

Great pictures of some solid GMTs. A couple of my buddies have gotten some classic 1675s and are hounding me to jump in.

If only I had infinite money . . .

Here's my "73" GMT. All original , I know the previous owner.
Note the lume has dropped out of the 24 hour hand. Unfortunately in one of its many services it was polished severely.
Still pretty imo.

I love the Pepsi 1675, that's my favorite. A modern version with a sapphire crystal (but same shape as the acrylic) and Chromalight in place of Tritium would be a fantastic modern rendition. Don't get me wrong, I love the current Ceramic ones too but I'm a sucker for matte dials.

I have a pair of 16750s. A matte Pepsi and a newer Black. They are both lovely watches. Interestingly the newer watch has yellower patina. Only downside is the black has a Superluminova sweep hand

Does anyone know the weight in grams of a 1675 with original oyster bracelet? I find it very very light compared to neither Submariner 95 '

The GMT-Master is my favourite model. I've owned a 1675 and a matte 16750 in the past. Had the itch for one until the wall of eye popping prices brought me down. Lucky for me, I found a more than respectable E serial 16710 here from a true gentleman. Glad to have been able to hold on to it. Been wearing it on a super comfortable leather NATO.

Great pic.

Do we know why type of 1675 it was? Gilt, MK1....?
