Prices in auctions are always quite variable. But they are a good way to understand trends if you follow prices in general. Always consider prices with fees, it's pointless even to mention the hammer price.

And since I live in Sweden, I have to apply VAT/customs fees,, if the watch comes from UK or USA,
So its premium plus VAT etc, and often the watch can be a bit expensive!

VAT is something you personally may have to pay to import the item, you may also have to pay shipping fees, but these are not part of the price IMO. However, the buyer's premium at an auction is intrinsically a part of the price for every buyer. In fact, when an auction house posts final prices on their website, they generally include the buyer's premium.
