Rolex Datejust 16220 - Full Set

Hello OF fam,

Up for sale today is a Rolex Datejust 16220. This sale is for the full set, including inner and outer boxes, brochures, and chronometer certificate. This watch was given to an IBM employee for 25 years of service in 1990 and has an engraving to that effect on the case back.



For those that don’t know, these early 16220 are the perfect mix of vintage and modern Datejust. They maintained the lug holes, tritium lume and 36mm size of the 4 digit models, while incorporating the newer 3135 movement and sapphire crystal. This particular example has the stainless engine turned bezel that is no longer produced by Rolex.



The watch is pristine (I don’t think the IBM recipient ever wore it) and was recently serviced by Kelly Hunter (@art_of_the_watch on IG). I will provide the service invoice to the seller.



I am asking $4750 shipped fully insured in the CONUS. I accept PP F&F, Venmo or Bank Wire. The watch is located in Portland, OR. International deals are possible with the purchaser paying actual shipping costs.
