Came across this in a estate auction...

Tis going really cheap like under $100
Worth trying to get as a fixer upper?

Any better pics? What I'm seeing doesn't give me much confidence that it's genuine.

No it’s an auction listing. It’s missing the bezel but the dial looks like a 70s date adjust...
It’s not eBay or somthing like that it’s an estate auction. The seller cares and knows nothing about watches..

I'm crossing my fingers on this one. I've never seen a genuine Rolex have that kind of spotting and corrosion. If it were genuine, and the movement was working, then I would take a gamble. If it's counterfeit, it's just another beat up watch that needs to be smashed with a hammer.

The applied graining to the case and the folded links on the bracelet don't seem right, I know some early jubilee bracelets were folded, but still.

By no means an expert on these, but just seems off. Plus, sub $100 for anything with Rolex on the dial seems unlikely.

Ultimately if you want to gamble, why not, you won't be out a lot of money.

That’s horrible. Look at the case profile, especially at 9 o’clock - completely wrong for a DJ
