Rolex batman

I bought a rolex milgauss with the z blue dial several months ago and wear it daily. It's a gorgeous watch but I have knocked it a few times and do miss a bezel. The guy I bought it off has a 2016 rolex batman and has offered me it for a good price part exchange on my milgauss. They are completely different watches but both gorgeous. I do want a bezel and wondered what people thought.

Personal preference. I really like the Milgauss, especially the blue dial. Rumor is that version will get discontinued in the near future.

I generally don’t sell watches unless I stop wearing them. Is the Batman something you can pick up in the future while retaining the Milgauss in your collection?

I could but I tend to wear one watch most of the time and was using the milgauss as my daily beater but it doesn't like it lol. The most watches I've ever owned at one time was 5 and 4 just sat there not being worn

That’s cool that’s like a good problem really makes me feel silly. 4-5 watches sounds perfectly reasonable and one could say even that is too many.

I think you need to get that 2016, especially if you know the seller. I wish I could afford one. I can only afford this Batman.

I had the Z-Blue and wish I hadn't sold it. BTW, mine had a bezel.

Boy, as a kid in the nineties I would have killed for this watch.

It’s a nice watch but in many ways I’d prefer the Milgauss as it’s more interesting and attractive to look at and is less of a pain in the arse if your collection involved multiple watches.

The GMT masters are a time consuming pain to set, so unless you keep it on a wonder or wear it daily you may find it never gets used, which is what led me to get rid of mine.

Bought my Ceramic GMT just before Batman …. Some times I’d wish I’d waited, others not so much. To be honest the Milligaus is a bit more interesting, a bit more under the radar.

IMO A Batman will get a lot of attention (which may or may not suit you), mine does, I absolutely love mine, and I was fortunate enough to pay list price: £5,950, for it back in 2014 (I think that was the year). I had no prior relationship with the AD, I just went in, put my name down and 3-4 months later they rang me. They were even offering 0% finance on them! The good ‘ole days!
As mentioned above, they are a pain in the arse to set every time if you don’t keep it on a winder, the GMT hand usually just ends up where it ends up, unless I using for a particular reason.

I bought it and traded my milgauss in so too late to change my mind now. I will wear it daily and go to spain quite a bit so will use the gmt function
