Here's a rare Rolex Oyster Precision in oversized 36mm case made for the British market in the late 1950s.

The reference 9083 with the UFO housing and the amazing honeycomb dial is one of those Rolexes you don't see very often and wasn't apparently popular when it was introduced in the 1956.

It isn't heavy. It isn't exactly a sport watch or a dress watch. It's, well, it's unique.

What make this true—besides the shape of the case—is the integrated bracelet. Rolex had only offered some examples of the Cellini line on a bracelet, in gold. Then came this Precision, a bold move to the future.

The bracelet fits a 7.5 inch wrist and is in excellent shape.

Asking a firm $5500 plus shipping.
