·I need to move a few pieces due to some incomings, so; Up for sale is a beautiful sub-second vintage Omega ref. 2691-4 with caliber 410 and a 13mill serial dating the watch to roughly 1952 which was the year this model was introduced.
The case is about 33-34mm not measuring the crown. It is 39mm from lug tip to lug tip and takes an 18mm strap. The case has no dings or major scratches at all. The case back is unmarked, screw in. Underneath you have a dust cover that protects the movement. The crown is a bit hard to pull it and it’s not original Omega, but that can be amended.
Inside is the Omega caliber 410, a 17J manual wind movement, created by Omega in 1951 but went into production from 1952. The movement is clean and runs as it should but as I do not know the service history a revision is recommended.
The immaculate white honeycomb dial is a treat to look at. Hand riveted gold hour markers and Dauphine hands, numerals and logo and a sub-second at 6 with a crosshair. It is super clean without any flaking, spotting or any other damages. You can even see the original lume spots at the end of every index. They still glow under a UV light.
The watch comes on a generic black leather strap. I would like to ask €550 for it payment via bank transfer or PayPal (fees will be split between buyer and myself). If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me. Should you require any references please ask. Thank you for reading
