Rolex 2022 price hikes… up to 12%!

glad i got mine when the getting was good. still kicking myself for trading away my 14060m b&p. as someone in the younger generations, there is no way id pay these sorts of hyped prices. Also prefer the 5 digit models anyway not the beefed up 6 digit lines. Sadly, rising tide raises all ships and getting 5 digit models have become ridiculous as well. The 16600 seadwellers might be the last good deal left.

I'm semi-interested in getting a new Milgauss with the blue dial, but I refuse to pay a penny over MSRP out of principal, even if it requires a lot of patience. I was speaking to a local AD yesterday and I asked her about getting on the waitlist. She said that they haven't seen a SS Rolex in over a year and don't even take names anymore.

I find it quite unbelievable an AD isn't getting a SS for a year. Surely they are getting enough but selling them to GM or VIPs only. Rolex is producing/marketing those so considering fair distribution would at least lead me to think she's talking BS.

I am sure the ADs are getting some SS watches but they reserve them for special clients only. My friend has been getting these watches because he has spent easily half a mil at the AD

It doesn't matter how much they are rising their prices considering that almost no one is actually able to buy them at the sticker price.

Market price is hiking up way more than 12%...
