Hello. This a 1675 from 1975 with a 4.4 million serial. Was wondering if this is the correct dial or is a service dial? Sorry for the one picture, I’m in process of getting more

Looks like a later dial to me.
Double check the 4.4 serial as may fall in with a period of replacement cases from Rolex.

I would say that watch is a replacement case, insert, dial/hands. You need to have an inside case back scan to see what year is any is stamped inside. Same for bracelet to see if a newer replacement as it looks from scan. If you have no interest in the vintage value and it's very cheap it might appeal as an everyday watch. Personally I would avoid this type of watch.

Indeed. Here's a quote from an HQ Milton listing:

Case & Bracelet
Excellent 4.4 million Service Case (all 4.4 million serial cases are cases that have been replaced at a service) The caseback is stamped: 1675 IV. 68 The original Serial number of the case and the newer service case are both marked on the inside of the case. Excellent 93150 with 11 links and 580 end pieces

The seller is asking $7900, What do you think?

Well, if you buy this, you'll be then playing what my watchmaker calls 'hot potato' only that it's not potatoes, but bombs. As in, this is a problematic watch, so the seller wants to offload it asap, and so will you probably later.

So what would be a good offer to seller if this were to be a daily beater and not an investment piece? Certainly not what he is asking, correct? Sorry with the questions, I’m new to all of this!

I dunno, you might wanna try gauging how badly he wants it gone and try offering like how other deals go. It's not like I would know how badly he wants it out the door! Try to determine how much you would be able to resell it for (and how much of a hit you can afford to take in the case you cannot resell). Of course if you buy to keep, different story...
