Offered here is a highly attractive Rolex GMT-Master 1675 “Long E.” The watch was recently fully serviced by Tempus watchmakers in the Netherlands, at this moment the best watchmakers in the Netherlands. I also own a later 1675 and have decided to keep the newer example, as I already have several watches from the 1960s in my collection.
An excellent vintage 1675 Long E overall, combining a strong case, appealing patina, correct period insert, and recent professional service by Tempus.

Original “Long E” dial with outstanding, even patina. At the time of purchase, the lume on the 7 o’clock marker and the hands showed some inconsistency, these were professionally color-matched by Horoluma on behalf of Tempus to match perfectly with the other tritium plots. The patina displays particularly well in natural sunlight as can be seen on picture 4.Case
Strong, thick case with thick lugs and clearly defined chamfers. Tempus lightly refinished the top surfaces of the lugs to enhance the original bevels. The watch has also been fitted with a new acrylic crystal during service.Bezel Insert
Fitted with the correct “fat font” insert featuring the oval 8 and red back. The insert has aged beautifully to vibrant orange and bright blue tones. Minor pitting is visible around the 2 and 4 o’clock positions on the bezel.Movement
