So this time...I am truly, honest to God, selling it... This is a very honest and correct 1675 Long E. Case: very thick and even case that has evidence of a previous polish. Chamfers are pretty much gone. Lugs are super fat and even, and crown guards are the same. Case back some wear on the outer edge from being opened. Razor sharp serial and ref numbers. Dial and Hands: MK1 with the waffle lume that is in pristine condition. Lume is 100% intact, and has developed a nice creamy patina. Hands appear to be original with matching patina. Bezel/Insert: Bezel is super sharp and insert is red back fat font. Bracelet: 1/70 7836 with 280 endlinks in excellent condition with minimal stretch. Engraving on clasp as pictured. Movement: I cannot open with my ball, so no movement shots. It is keeping excellent time, and date advances right at midnight. Has the original hooked 7 date wheel. Asking $15.5k Shipped in the CONUS, payment by wire. Please feel free to DM or email watchknut AT gmail.com View attachment 511982
Stunning example! Awesome correct hooked 7 date wheel. Don’t see this lasting long, great seller and stellar example. GLWS.
Wow, 2 1969 1675's on one forum at the same time!!! And both great examples. We must have the same accountant preparing our taxes to let these beauties go. Great watch and great seller!!!
Lot's of interest, and feel free to make an offer. This is a rare time where I am not funding a piece, but am selling to fund something in the future, so no reverse auction this time
I actually sent a coupe of people to your thread that where looking into mine as well. They're different enough they can be considered as such.
Back up after a year. Looking to trade for another 1675...I prefer watches with darker custard colored patina. No interest in selling or in other trades at this time.
@watchknut is one of the good guys who knows what to look for when collecting Vintage Rolex. A 7836 bracelet too! He's taught me ALOT about collecting VR and he's always keen to help/advise. GLWS senpaii.
