Pics aren't the best, but looks good to me. I think you got a very good price on this one, nice find.

Pictures are far from the best. I thought my old eyes were deceiving me at first. Turned out to be a second offer as high bidder was out of country and seller only ships domestic.

noticed the 16710 has really jumped in price lately. Not sure why its almost a vintage watch apparently the ceramics aren't as popular.

I think the ceramics, particularly the new WG BLRO have renewed interest in these vintage predecessors.

the 16710 offers bezel insert interchangeability - so you can black, coke or pepsi.

it becomes clearer once you understand that the new ceramics do not have that flexibility, and the pepsi version is arriving in white gold costing $40K.

bought a 16710 off eBay. Looks pretty darn good deal. Never owned a gmt before just seeing what you professionals think!

Just curious what you thought of the watch up close. I was looking at it when it was up for sale. Thought the price was good, but wondered if the hands are tritium, like the dial, or luminova replacements during recent servicing? If it is all tritium then for a '91 I would think you did great.
