Man, that's just twisted. Theresa May in ass-less, PVC chaps? It might just work.

Well, if you're gonna get [expletive deleted] in the [expletive deleted], they're the only things to wear.

There are some insults that are just too harsh to bear.

This is a form where only the toughest are allowed in ... Just look at those avatars of @tyrantlizardrex of or @ConElPueblo

So stop whining or they will rough you up

No definitive result yet ?
Ice Station Zebra was Howard Hughes favorite movie... I saw the movie this afternoon ... Googled & found this topic 😁
a few of Rock Hudson's USS Tigerfish submarine officers also wore such a reverse Panda dial chronograph... one with a reddish-blue bezel
For what's is worth... Hudson's chronograph sits on a black leather strap with distinctive metal part near the springbars
I think is a no-date dial so we can probably rule out a 1967 Universal Genève Space-Compax chronograph
One thing is sure ... that are huge white subdials !
So our best guess could be the Breitling 765 ‘AVI” aka “Raquel Welch” 📖

Ha! That's where you're wrong! They're chaps, not trousers .....

And PVC......

And ass-less.
Actually all "chaps" are assless by definition. Otherwise they'd just be pants.

Ian Fleming names all kinds of watches in his books, but never Omega.
IIRC when they subject came up on a previous thread someone mentioned that in one of the novels Bond took particular notice of an Omega watch worn by one of the villains.

My initial guess is a Brietling. The proportions and finish seem spot on. Not the Autavia.

If it is an Autavia GMT, maybe the 2446 first ex bezel on it (given the apparent spacing of the numbers)?

But I’m sure not one to say for sure it’s an Autavia GMT; though in ~68 how many “Pepsi” tri’s were out there?

Edit: does it almost look like the sub dials are graphically split in three segments?

Strap enhanced; can see that it probably intended to accentuate the Pepsi. Also appears to possibly be some sort of hybrid bund/nato jobby- would love to have a better look at that thing

The strap on Hudson's watch looks very similar to the single rivet hybrid bund/nato strap worn by John Young in the Apollo 16 crew photo. Of course Young has a small foldable calendar attached to his because only Young could pull off this combination with a Speedmaster.

Actually, the early/67 Autavia guess squares with the “illusion” of the sub dials being split in 3rds (due to the design of the numbering in the subs):

These straps were very popular in the late 60's.
I had my Timex on one as a teenager during that time.
I can remember that I just had to have one for my watch.
