Mathey-Tissot is a different company than Tissot. The two are not associated as far as I know. Just an interesting distinction for a watch forum.
I had always assumed Mathey-Tissot had been some kind of joint venture before Tissot gobbled up the Mathey name. Lazy thinking on my part—thanks for pointing this out!

Watched it last night...I'm a sucker for 3 1/2 hour mob flicks full of conspiracies. I really enjoyed how Scorcese managed to portrait the intermingling of political intrigue, union activism with the underworld. All this accented by the penultimate mob flick actors. Pesci really nails it. And what about "Irish" DeNiro with the blue eyes!

Not for nuthin but this whole time I had the movie "Kill the Irishman"(2011) in my head(about the 1970s Cleveland mob), which is a great flick with a lot of the classic hollywood goombas. Give that one a watch too.

Great acting, but those blue eyes were a distraction for me - made him look like he was from a Terminator movie or something similar, just didn’t look realistic. Being the Irishman, maybe they should have been green 😉

My wife was really bothered by the blue eyes too.

Note that these guys rocked the gold watches in casual clothes. I’m still on the fence regarding the film though. I think I respected more than enjoyed.
I'm with you there Larry . It took us two nights to finish watching the movie....My wife wasn't impressed at all, she said that was no enjoyment watching it.. But, I do respect acting they've done...I would've enjoyed it, if it would've been 1.5 hours... not 3...

Creepiest eyes I've seen were those of a guy who had a birth defect that caused the pupils to be elongated like a cat's pupils. On top of that the iris was a pale bluish grey like a polished ball bearing.

Watched the whole movie last night, meh? It's hard to watch "Punchy" for so long anymore. Such an angry, sad, little man he's become.

Same. That movie would have been awesome had it been made 20 years ago

Essentially he did the same movie 46 years ago (Mean Streets), 29 years ago (Goodfellas) and again 24 years ago (Casino).
Nevertheless, Irishman is worthy of respect, but I prefer Scorsese when does stuff like Wolf of Wall Street.
