Just listened to a great podcast with her recently - she did sound a little weak, but I wasn’t aware of her illness. Really sad to hear, and if there ever was someone who deserves to have a corner at the ring named after her/him, she’s the one.

I didn't even know she was sick...
She was a great personality and obviously a phenomenal driver.
I mean just over 10 seconds Bridge to Gantry in a van...lol. The automotive world lost a real good one.

one of my check off list in life was to go to the Nürburgring and have Sabine taxi me around...

I woke up to this news and it has not been a pleasant day for me. I wasn't even aware that she was sick...

I'd like to remember her this way... and yes, I think they need to name a corner of the ring in her name. She was indeed the queen of the Nürburgring. spent her whole life there. won not one but two 24 hour races there.

RIP...

My son is devastated. He was a fan. He said “We lost two fast women this week.” I have yet to determine who else passed.
