I'd be surprised if there wasn’t a critical mass of MythBusters fans on OF, so wanted to share that one of their support team, Grant Imohara, has passed. Seems like he lived his ideal life. May we all follow our dreams
This broke my heart when I saw this the other day. Grant was incredible and I loved watching him at work.
God this was painful to read the other day. He was always such a fun presence to watch on the show, his enthusiasm for everything he did was absolutely infectious and it's just so sad that he's gone like this.
Seemed like a nice guy and this is very sad, obviously. Another reminder that we never know when our end will come, and regardless of whether or not you believe there is something after that end (I don’t) it doesn’t change the goal of making the most of every moment we have before it ends. As far as I can tell, it seems like he did.
Someone I worked with passed away from a brain Aneurysm last year, late 30’s and on his honeymoon. Super sad. As @3nicewatches said, make the most of each moment
My father died at the same age, 49, from the same thing. Great brains die alike, Stanford PhD in mechanical engineering. Hard to wrap your head around these things.
All that can be said of something like that is, hopefully there wasn't even the slightest feeling that something was wrong, and he died happy.
Imahara also designed and created the best talk show sidekick ever, Geoff Peterson for The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Balls.
