I’m glad someone here also acknowledges this famous felines passing. Seven is very young for a cat that’s not an outdoor cat. RIP Grumpy Cat. You made the internet a happier place.
Damn what happened to grumpy. My cat is 17. I need to give her liquid steroids as she has some stomach issues which vet said would cost over a thousand just to find out what it is she didn’t recommend it. The world is just not the same without grumpy cat
According to Grumpy’s owners on Twitter an infection developed complications and overwhelmed her. Idk if cats with dwarfism are prone to other physical problems as they age.
Our cat passed away last month at 5 1/2 years old, from lymphoma. We thought he’d be with us for another 10 years. So we’re still grieving and know Tardar Sauce went way too early too.
7 is very young for a cat. The little guy in my profile pic just turned 7 this year, hoping for many more happy years with him (fingers crossed)
Saw on the news that this cat had earned over $100 MILLION from advertising. The owner was mourning more than his cat......
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/17/business/media/grumpy-cat-dead.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share I’m sorry for your loss. We have two 7 year old cats and although we hope for the best, there are no guarantees ever.
It’s shocking, SHOCKING, what can be earned on You Tube and other sites if you drive viewership with content that’s popular. Grumpy Cat was a spokesperson (spokescat?) for Friskies cat food so he had an endorsement deal. Then again the ability to make money and love for a pet are not mutually exclusive. Reading their last tweet it’s presented to us that this was a loved family pet. Who had some smart guardians. If I could bring joy and humor to others and make a mint I’d do it too It must have been bad if you know they could afford the best possible care and in the end it didn’t matter. The moral here is you can’t take it with you. So yeah, buy that watch you want today
@Tik-Tok of Oz … Life is a bitch these days/hard work does not pay.. The dog on the left worked hard, served his masters and stayed on the treadmill all his life..... The bitch on the right got a YouTube channel, $100 million from a chunky meats endorsement and then retired to the park early :0)……
