    It looks as though Richard is sporting both the straight and horned-end examples of the JB Champion mesh...or is it just the photo angle?

    Yes, they appear to be two different end pieces. Armstrong has a straight end as well.

    The first JBs on the NASA scene appear to be straight ends and the curved ends appear later. Why the change on the Gordon watch, who knows.
