Minute jumpers are also a bit erratic as there are three major variations
Yes, it's these I'm looking for. I have discovered two variations and now I learn there is a third! That just makes the hunt more fun to be honest 馃榾

Parts came early. Shaken not stirred.

I sorted them back into their bins according to the auction photograph.

Not sure the torn brown paper was the best packaging. One of the balance wheels went flying when I pulled the paper out. I heard it ping across the room. Spent a couple hours looking for it. Will turn up when I least need it. Not really a part I need at the moment. (I need to get some more staffs first.) A few of the wire springs may have also pinged.

The part I really wanted was the Barrel cover as I had a barrel sans cover. Those usually come in pairs. Glad to get the hammers as well. Lots of good stuff here. Only one third wheel. Seems odd third wheels would be the rarest. The long 4th wheel pinions seem prone to breakage. Perhaps they make more spare 4th wheels. More center wheels and chrono runners. Only one winding clutch.

Got another minute jumper. The early style. The other style uses an eccentric and is the most expensive. The 51 class caliber is two piece with the eccentric on a separate boss. Those are actually the easiest to get, and often not broken.

Will eventually need to get some mainsprings.

The pill box is also nice. I am glad they included it.

Still sorting rabbits ...

found parts to assemble at least three more plates.

I am going to put a game up in the main thread to spot the subtle differences. Quite fun for those who incline to pedantic OCD.

Also a bit distracted with the planetarium toys I got. Re reading Henry C King's Geard to the stars. One of the rarest books I own. I keep toying with the idea to use some of these plates to make the astronomical dial watch I have wanted.

15 potential landeron chronos. There are 9 in this photo. More upper bridges than main plates. I think I may now have more tick tock parts than plates. I did not include the 248 movements or the ones with cases and straps.

Yeah; I am a sucker for cheap collections of loose landeron parts.

Forgot to bid on this last week. Seller relisted got it for half the price, it would have cost last week had I remembered.

Nothing I really need. Well looks like there is a stem, and perhaps more escape wheels. (the pivots get broken on these a lot.) May be some pallet forks. I smashed a roller table, so that could be of use. (do not hammer roller tables onto the staff!) Regulator arms and cap jewels are often missing. Hopefully some third wheels.

Springs and screws are always a good thing to bid on.

No sign of #121 balance cocks with incabloc fittings. I sent the seller an email noting that if they listed any I would be sure to bid, Ebay blocked the message till I removed the word.

I see listings for roosters. Tried searching for roosters to no effect. I guess the autotranslate in the listings does not flag the word.

At least one of the train bridges is for a Lan 51 or later variant. Most of the people selling this stuff do not really know what it is. Might be good as art projects for all they care.

The lovely landeron parts assortment just arrived.

Pretty much as expected.

I repurposed one of those bestift type bottle assortment boxes to take the smaller parts sorting the screws, springs and some gearing into the bottles.

Since my mind is currently on the differences between Omega Cal 330,470,500,550, and 563. I staged everything into the lid of a Harry and David 'fruit' box.

I hope the new stuff does not overflow things.

There is probably 18 or 19 watches here. Never though the part needed for completion. Case pushers are the worst. No complete case == no motivation.

One style minute jumper was the other.

Was short on winding clutches. Bought some NOS ones. There are some in this collection as well, along with some stems.

Probably will have to get some NOS mainsprings.

These parts look to be more lan51 which is good as some of the plates can use the bridges.

Now it is back to sorting Omega parts. I love estate sale parts assortments. Always have my real weakness.
