I recently purchased a Tudor Oyster. I have always liked the old Rolex Precisions and this was a way of experiencing an oyster case without breaking the bank. I bought the watch as a restoration as the crown thread was stripped and the seconds hand had fallen off. Apart from that though the watch had good bones and after a week with my watchmaker it was back with me. The watch came on an old Rolex folded link bracelet. I dont think it was original to the watch though as the end links were not quite right. In addition to this there was plenty of stretch in the bracelet so I have retired it and put a generic oyster bracelet on the watch. Maybe I'll sell the Rolex bracelet. Do any of you guys replace the older bracelets on your watches or is it a no no. I'm just curious.
