Resurrecting old calibres

Omega is an old watch maker with a number of legendary old calibres.

It seems to me most of the current catalogue house 8XXX or 9XXX calibres. It gets a bit stale (from a movement nerd's perspective).

I think the new 321 release showed that there is a demand for reissues with old calibres.
What would your reaction be if Omega releases some reissues with old calibres?

I would lust for the 33.3 chrono in a waterproof, wearable rendition.
As a rule though, you can't go home again.

I would love to see the 1040 or 1045 movement return. This is the central minute counter chronograph. I believe this is also the movement of the 'holy grail' speedmaster from the mid-80s, pictured at the bottom.

Doe anyone here beside me love the 505 movement?

+1. Can't think of a single reference powered by cal 505 that I wouldn't be proud of owning.

I like new tech in my new watches. Keep the vintage vintage.
