·The watch looks great. One thing I noticed is the bezel. I know that these macro shots enhance all flaws, but that bezel came back with some missing paint. Is that the risk you take cleaning the cheese?. Numerous spots appear in the after shots.

I've had a few bezels cleaned (some by me, some at service) and usually there's no damage to the aluminium insert. Unfortunately with this one, a couple of areas did lose some of the coating.
That's the risk you take with anything that has aged, be it a tropical dial or faded bezel. It's still worth it imo!
