Funny how the two I liked the most before seeing the price turned out to be the most expensive. Very nice , but way out of my league.

The Triple and that Lapis Memovox Calendar….drool worthy. Passed through their excellent restoration dept. with some sort of warranty. I like the idea.

This reminds me of when Mercedes offered fully factory rebuilt 280SL’s. Although people gasped at the prices back then, they were actually very reasonable in hindsight for what you were getting.
MB still offers full service/restoration on their vintage vehicles which is awesome. BMW used to (20 years ago) but not sure of their commitment to the Mobile Heritage department anymore.

They all look very nice but the prices are pretty aggressive. For wealthy buyers they probably won’t care but the casual buyer can find these models for 40% less online

I sent a vintage early 18k 1960s Jaeger 3 register chronograph with the Valjoux 72 movement. It is running perfectly, I just wanted it opened up, checked out, lubed, put back together and sent back with a certificate of authenticity. They wanted $4,000 and quoted it taken about 11 months. Even with inflation I thought that was steep. I told them to just authenticate the watch and send it back in the proper working order they received it in.

When you send a watch to JLC, VC, PP etc. you are getting the attn. of some high overhead but very skilled folks with access to proprietary resources. I wouldn’t seek their services unless I had a fixer upper with significant upside, that needed more than my local watchmaker or RGM could provide.

I'm interested that there are two with bumper movements a calibre 815 and calibre 825 advertised. When I mentioned my cal.825 to a dealer earlier this year in conversation he told me that getting spares for the movement was a real problem and probably accounted for the low prices they seemed to fetch. He had no ulterior motive, on we were just chatting.
