Looks killer! You should consider a vintage tropic strap馃憤
Yes. I'm going to play a bit with straps and bracelets. I dont think I have a tropic strap in 19mm. I will take a look

The Uncle Seiko 19mm Tropic is a nice strap if the lugs are beefy enough (and can hold you over until you track down a vintage one). They are thicker than the originals so on slender lugs it can look too thick.

Thanks a lot @Shabbaz for sharing this.

A very nice inspiration for an ignorant like me ! And also good to see the real cost as a reference.
I fully understand the wish to go on this adventure (putting back to life a desperate case) and I am even more impressed by the speed you've actually been running that !

I'm personally looking for a donor watch to find hands for my croton casd v23 for 3 months now and was starting to desperate a bit. Now seeing your results : this gives me a reason to go on and some hope. I guess it is a patience game and of course knocking on the right doors (Relume is great BTW).

Thanks again for this OF : nice place indeed, helpful members and so many inspiring threads and projects.

Just found that..... excellent so far. Give me the exact lengths of minute and hour hand from tip to the middle of the hole, pls. Will have a look in my hands bag. There were other brands with these hands. Can not recall which ones in the moment. The hole might need adaption and a good watchmaker will make a sleeve for the difference. And next time, you start that, let me know. I have saved a few small Bergeon liquid water based Tritium glas phioles.

Really enjoyed reading this thread, @Shabbaz! You made a brave call to restore but I think your diligence and patience have earned you a really cool watch as the end result. Wear in good health!
