··ΩF InvestiGatorYou should take the watch to a watchmaker and have the back removed. The information regarding the model is on the inside of the case back. A picture of the movement would also be helpful.
As stated above, the hands were all replaced at some point. The dial looks similar to other Omegas of the early 1950’s.

I don’t “feel I know” much about it but hands obviously do not fit.

·Thanks for the help - unfortunately I sent the watch in for repairs, and the shop appear to have misplaced it. I don’t have any more pictures sadly.

·You mean they misplaced your watch? Keep the emails if they replied this way and as they misplaced it. They're responsible for a replacement, but it's also your grandfathers watch which makes it irreplaceable.
