Hi everyone,

I’ve been trying to find alike watches online but as of yet have had no success - keen to get more details as to exactly what year this watch is, and anything more I can learn…it was gifted to my grandad - circa 1946

no others I’ve found have the crosshairs + the arrowed second hand!

Unfortunately hands were replaced for non original

Well since you feel you know a bit about this model perhaps you can fill the OP in on more info as he requested?

Nice watch by the way 😉

You should take the watch to a watchmaker and have the back removed. The information regarding the model is on the inside of the case back. A picture of the movement would also be helpful.

As stated above, the hands were all replaced at some point. The dial looks similar to other Omegas of the early 1950’s.

I don’t “feel I know” much about it but hands obviously do not fit.

Thanks for the help - unfortunately I sent the watch in for repairs, and the shop appear to have misplaced it. I don’t have any more pictures sadly.

You mean they misplaced your watch? Keep the emails if they replied this way and as they misplaced it. They're responsible for a replacement, but it's also your grandfathers watch which makes it irreplaceable.

Make sure they find it
