Requesting Expert Eyes on Omega Seamaster Calendar Ref. 2849 (Cal. 503)

Hi all,
I’m considering purchasing a vintage Omega Seamaster Calendar, and I would really appreciate the community’s expert views on originality and correctness.
I’ve handled the watch in person and have taken the photos below myself.
Reference & Movement
• Inside caseback is stamped Omega with reference 2849
• Movement is stamped Cal. 503
• Rotor marked 20 jewels
• Serial number places it in the correct mid‑1950s range

What I’d like your help with:

I’m looking for opinions on originality and whether anything appears replaced, refinished, or inconsistent with the reference.

Specifically:

1. Dial & Printing
• Does the printing (OMEGA, Automatic, Seamaster script, Calendar) look original?
• Any signs of redial: ink bleeding, incorrect fonts, spacing issues, misalignment?

2. Indices & Minute Track
• Do the applied indices and minute markers look correctly aligned for a Ref. 2849?
• Any concerns about symmetry or re‑application?

Price
The watch is offered to me by a watch repairer who services my other watch, at £400.
I’m mainly interested in originality, but any thoughts on whether the price is in line with condition would be welcome.

Thanks in advance for your time and expertise - I really value the collective knowledge here.

I like it, it looks like a good buy at £400. Is he servicing it too for that money?

Looks like a good watch for 400.
you can Check if the automatic rotor Hits the Movement or case if you hold it in your Hand and shake it a Little bit. The dial seems in good condition if you consider the age of this watch.
