Hi guys, may I ask for your opinion on this railmaster 135.004? Your comments are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Best,

Is that a redial? It looks pristine! Were these supposed to have closed 6's and 9's?

Not sure about that. Checked OVD and the database pic shows closed 6 and 9.
The pristine 2914 that sold a couple months back also had closed 6 &9.

Case, dial and hands don't look quite right to me. Need better pictures for starters but have seen these watches on the bay with sharp case edges that were fakes.

I have requested close up pic of the dial. Only the caseback for now. Thanks Dennis and Mike.

Something looks really fishy about that case back engraving, especially the Ω logo.

I would have significant concerns about this watch. A few things stand out:

    1. Dial is too fresh and does not fit with the overall condition of the watch.
    2. I believe the shape of the lume groove in the minute hand is wrong - it should be tapered. But there might have been variants?
    3. The Omega symbol on the case back appears too broad. In most of the authentic examples the thickness of the symbol is thinner.
    4. The bezel should end closer to the lip of the case (see picture below)

For me the watch would raise enough questions that I would want additional documentation before deciding. My 2c

Dial, hands are definitely not original Gavin
Case and caseback look phony to these eyes also

It looks suspicious to me too. Thanks for confirming. Thank you my friends.
