If you are referring to a brand new watch, then a reputable gray dealer is your other option - that is if you are willing to trade OEM warranty and AD or brand name boutique VIP treatment for a larger discount and warranty work provided by the gray dealer. The way I see it, the risks of a brand new, high end watch to fail in the first two years is very low, and you are essentially paying for that OEM warranty when you succumb to a full or even a 90% MSRP. I have purchased brand new watches from both types of dealers -AD and gray- in the past with no regrets, and if the deal is right, I will use the gray dealer option again.
