It's very straightforward if you know what you are doing, and have the proper tools. If you use an Omega certified watchmaker, they should be competent, and have the right tools,
and they can get you the bezel. If you choose someone who isn't, then you have no idea what you will end up with.
Here is the bezel off a watch that was sent to me for repairs after the owner took it to another watchmaker for a "simple" bezel swap:
He not only bent the shit out of the bezel, but he severely damaged the case in the process of trying to pry the bezel off with a knife...so I guess it depends on how lucky you feel.
