Replacement bracelet pin for 1989 Speedmaster (175.0032)?

I bought this watch and it came with an extra link that I need to put on, but does not have the extra needed pin.

I'm having a hell of a time finding so maybe I'm using the wrong terms?

This is a friction pin and the bracelet is either a 1450 or 1479 right?

Any advice or help would be incredibly appreciated. Eager to wear the watch but its just a tad too snug right now.

Should be a 1459/810 which is what these early Speedy Reduceds came on.

With the above part number, you can go into an Omega Boutique and they will order the part for you.

Ahhhh I don't have an omega boutique anywhere near me. I'll see if I can email one. Thanks

This may help.

I'm confused because this shows a groove in the middle of the pins. Not trying to be difficult. Just don't understand why I can't find an image that looks like the two pins that came out of my watch

These illustrations are not always 100% accurate compared to what the parts look like. Also if your pins are worn they may have steps or shoulders in them now that were not there when new.

The bracelet is discontinued and replaced by 1469/811. Very few parts are currently listed for the 1459/810, but this shows the spare links and the pin for them:

There are very rarely errors on the Omega Extranet where I'm looking this information up, but that is all the information Omega currently has on this bracelet, so it's all I have to offer.

I had to buy from two different sites (Perrin and Otto Frei) for the pin/tube, and can confirm they match the Omega diagram for the 1459/810.

The pin does have the indentation in the middle, and the tube does look like it would go in the middle link.

.... but I've taken two existing pins out of my watch and neither had the middle information, just the little shoulder on the end from my photo above. I'm puzzled.

My dang eyesight isn't good enough to see where what the existing tubes are. I have no idea if there's one in the extra link. If the existing tubes indeed were in the middle like the diagram/new, then it makes no sense to me why the existing pins would slide right in until the last 1/8". Wouldn't the shoulder on the end of the pin fight the indentation halfway through?

Have you tried the new parts?

I replace a ton of pins and tubes in these bracelets, and I’ve found countless incorrect pins in them. Solid pins, split pins, pieces of paper clips…

I’m not sure what you are after here…you have the parts…try them.

pieces of paper clips…
Seems to be an accepted repair method though.
😉

(Note: Now replaced with a stainless pin of the correct diameter and length).
